The TRC Journal of Humanitarian Action (TRCJHA) is an international scientific, open-access journal published in accordance with the principles of an independent, impartial, and blind peer review. TRCJHA is the official publication of the Turkish Red Crescent and published quarterly. The journal is published in English.
TRCJHA mainly aims to create a scientific forum by producing qualified publications in fields related to disaster and humanitarian activities, thus providing contributions to the related literature. The journal also aims to contribute to shaping policies in these fields in Turkey by publishing the most current original studies.
As an interdisciplinary journal, TRCJHA accepts submissions from various disciplines provided they are related to disaster and humanitarian activities. With its multidisciplinary approach, the journal publishes empirical research, evaluations, editorial notes, case studies, and historical documents, and book reviews from the perspective of both Turkey and the world.
